Dave Benson

Dave Benson is an accomplished security professional with over 30 years of Public and Private Sector expertise in the areas of Security Management, Training, Protective Operations, Contingency Planning and Vulnerability/Risk Assessment & Mitigation.

As a Global Security Consultant, Dave specializes in partnering with clients to develop strategic solutions to support individual, group or organizational goals.

Dave founded D J Benson and Associates after an acclaimed career with the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS) as a Senior Special Agent. Prior to his government services, Dave served in various management positions for Walt Disney World Security, in Orlando Florida.

In his last position with the Department of State, Dave served as the Director of the Diplomatic Security Training Center in Washington DC where he was responsible for the All Security, Engineering, and Law Enforcement training within the Bureau.

Dave is currently Director of Safety and Security for Celebrate Church in Celebration, Florida.

Dave’s other career highlights include: Protective Security for numerous Secretaries of State & Foreign Dignitaries; overseas assignments in Egypt, Sri Lanka, Finland, and Bangladesh; and oversight of the DS planning and coordination for the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta.

An accomplished martial artist, Dave hold's Black Belt certifications in Tae Kwon Do and Choi Kwang Do International---as a Chief Instructor---is a certified firearms instructor, and a past member of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Accreditation Board.

Angel Bolton

Angel Bolton brings over fifteen years of Law Enforcement Experience to DJ Benson and Associates. Angel excels in the areas of training, teaching, investigation and facilitating. Teaching at local community colleges, police academies, and police agencies, Angel enjoys contributing to the knowledge of others.

During the course of her career, Angel has assisted at the State level with the development and delivery of High Liability Curriculum, which is used in our police academies today.

Angel is an innovative leader and motivator possessing sold convictions, morals, and ethics. Using these motivating tools, Angel has assisted several hundred civilians become police officers, both in the police academy and in police field training programs.

Angel is an expert in scenario based training and holds certifications in such “High Liability” topics as Firearms Instructor, Defensive Tactics Instructor, Human Diversity Instructor, ASP Baton Instructor, and Air Soft Instructor.

Angel is also a certified National Self-Defense Institute Self Defense Awareness (S.A.F.E) Instructor and is involved with the Crisis Intervention Team, a division of Florida Partners in Crisis--an innovative program enabling law enforcement professionals to be better prepared when they come in contact with individuals with a mental illness.

Angel is excited to bridge her career in law enforcement with the current needs of God’s Kingdom in the 21st century. Angel believes that just as the needs of Religious Organizations, Churches, Missionaries, and individuals have changed drastically in a post 9/11 world, so must the security and training programs designed to meet this challenge.
